Directly from bush to cup
In Chaplon we control the entire process, from the tea plants on the hillside in Sri Lanka, until the tea ends up brewed in the tea cup.
We put emphasis on providing the tea from our plantations as fresh as possible, so the tea retains its flavour and content of healthy substances.
Therefore, we can ensure that the tea is both grown, processed, packed and sold under safe conditions. Our tea is handled and brought to the consumer by people who are passionate about their work and get paid for it.
It also means that we can sell tea of a high quality at a price that is relatively lower than the price of similar qualities. The reason is that the tea is not traded through the many links which traditional tea from Sri Lanka have to go through.
