Education

Possibility of education is one of the benefits we offer our Chaplon employees in Sri Lanka. Meet Samantha who is a diploma teacher in English, she teaches the staff at the tea-packing facility in Hikkaduwa in the west coast of Sri Lanka.

Wages and working conditions

The harvest of our tea is ongoing throughout most of the year. Al tea from our plantations are picked by hand in the traditional manner. The best season for tea harvest is in September, and our UVA Quality Season is the tea, which is picked precisely at this time.
